Tanya Boles
Tanya is a practicing chartered psychologist with experience in the areas of counselling and applied psychology. Prior to joining Sentis, Tanya worked with children and youth at a residential treatment centre as Primary Treatment Clinician. In this position she had the opportunity to work with teams of staff in treating at-risk youth, which included forming and implementing treatment plans, consulting with psychiatry, and applying psychological concepts to team health and wellness.
Tanya has additionally worked with the Alberta Mental Health Board providing assistance to families, children, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health and lifestyle concerns. She possesses years of experience working with individuals and families from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, with many clients being of aboriginal decent. As such, she has focused upon developing her knowledge about aboriginal culture.
At Sentis, Tanya applies her knowledge of psychology and human behaviour to the facilitation of ZIP® with clients. She draws upon her experience in clinical practice to assist clients in learning and applying the knowledge we share to achieve their goals around work, safety, wellbeing and in their personal lives.
Brenda Burton-Jones
Brenda possesses over 15 years of experience in educational settings and has spent the last six years working within the hotel industry. During her time within College settings, Brenda was responsible for the logistics and marketing of courses, workshops and conferences from the Health and Social Services areas. Prior to joining Sentis, Brenda was the Director of Sales within the hotel industry and was responsible for managing a sales team who generated revenue for the hotel owners.
At Sentis, Brenda combines her exceptional organisational skills and experience as the Office Manager for the Canadian team in Edmonton.
