"This weekend I completed my first module of ZIP training. My first thought was that this was just another safety course, but as always I would go in with an open mind to get the most out of it I could. As I am sure that you have taken this course already you can understand my amazement with the course content. A lot of the material that is mentioned has been floating around in my head in bits and pieces for years. The instructor, Clive, was able to provide a method to bring it all together into something that is meaningful and attainable to me. I feel that there will be great changes in my life as a result. With regard to safety I always think that the company is paying me to do it safe so I will make the extra effort to do that, as well for my own wellbeing. "I am writing to say how impressed I was with the ZIP programme offered to Curragh employees. I personally benefited enormously from the programme both at work and in my personal life. I think that it is a big step forward for the company and am of the opinion that all organizations should offer ZIP to their employees (high schools would also benefit). Thank you for giving me the opportunity to partake in ZIP and I think it is a real reflection of Curragh's commitment to safety and the well being of it's employees. My only concern would be that "old habits die hard" and hope that the majority of employees responded as well as I have. Refresher training/reinforcements would also be advantageous."
